Can't really think of anything (maybe Rainbow 6 ravenshield), but maybe you'd consider playing online. If yes - I am going to recommend Red Orchestra once again. With version 3 it is now prettier than ever and can be really atmospheric. Great gameplay, great maps. Red orchestra is a mod for UT2004, which is quite good in its own right. There are other good mods too.

RO is deff worth a look, its not your usual run around FPS. Its more sneaky, new gun physics are very good with wobble comming in if you use the sights too long and the recoil on smg's works great, so its very controllable. Great game.

You can still do run arounds in RO Run into a house with a ppsh - waste 3 germans and then hold them off from coming from spawn for a couple minutes until they manage to nade you.

Just persevere with it through the "can't tell the sides apart" period and you'll enjoy it.

Funny thing happened yesterday. We had a deliberate tker on our team. I was sitting there with my sniper rifle, minding my own business when he shot it out of my hands. He then proceeded to go and pick it up. Well, i don't normally tk, but he was not gonna have my sniper rifle - couple of shots from TT and it was back in my hands where it belonged If he was a decent player and just asked me for it i woulda given it to him without problems.

Yes. You can play with bots i suppose, but you might as well play by yourself. It is gret though, and will only cost you 18 quid for UT2004 from www.play.com and u get all the other mods too.

If you play on-line then I'd go for Americas Army. Not only is it great - it's free!
