    Amiga Emulators

    Are these illegal? Are the games still under copyright or can you play them as shareware now?

    The emulator themselves are legal, but the kickstart rom required to run them is still under copyright.

    OK cool so if i buy a gen copy of kickstart then it will be legal? Are the games shareware now too?

    Think games are copyright. Story I heard is they are being ported to mobile phones hence they are enforcing copyright again

    The amiga emulator runs great. I was into amigas until about 1997 after which I got into the pc. Most games work perfect. I ended up giving my Amiga 1200 away, it had an accelarator card and harddisk.

    Still nothing today that can start booting and be ready to run in 7 seconds
