Jump 'n' Bump is also a great coffee break game. It's four player, either on one PC or over network, with cutesy bunny rabbits. You have to jump on each other's heads to make each other explode in a shower of guts and blood, hahaha. It sounds rubbish but it's brilliant, trust me.

Top links for Soldat and TinyCars 2. Haven't tried Jump'n'bump or Gate 88. Still can't believe no-one's managed to find a freeware LAN-multiplayer bomberman. As for those suggesting UT etc, it's not really the sort of thing we're after, hence the first post. This is retro we're after, not FPS.
