    System Shock 2: Need Help

I'm at the bit where you're job is to restore power to get the lift working, called the 'core' I think, where various parts are radiated. Starting from entering that section, does anyone know where I have to go?

Wow, been a while since I played system shock, great game. And I do remember getting lost. Sorry can't remember a thing about where you have to go, I was just enjoying remeniscing. SS2 was /another/ reason why I nearly flunked my second year at uni.
They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them.

describe better where you are & what you've done. it'd also help to have an idea of what enemies you've encountered so far, to better pinpoint your position in the game.

    I didn't post a walkthrough. I posted a link.

Jeez, Dude. It's a linear game - just read up to the bit where you are stuck, find your answer, then delete the walkthrough from your harddrive. Is that so difficult? Why waste so much time here asking more and more questions when the answers you seek are sat there in a least 5 different places at the end of a link I posted you? It's taken you more time in this thread to get your answer (which you still haven't got) than it would to download a walkthrough over the world's slowest modem.

Sometimes I don't know why I bother to be so helpful...

...Also, that joke wore kinda thin after it's first 1,000,000 postings on the Internet. :-)

Still, good to see you've developed enough 'willpower' to progress in the game. Now all you have to do is learn to channel that newly found skill into selectively reading walkthroughs - might help you the next time you get stuck. :-)
