Games you just couldn't get into....

Rage is the one that instantly leaps to mind for me, I dont think Ive put more than a couple of hours into it before getting very bored ><

Carrier Command: Gaea Mission is another, picked it up because I loved Hostile Waters, but the useless Ai and dodgy controls put paid to it after the first mission

Dead Rising 2. I saw the ad on the telly, said out loud 'That looks pretty cool', and got it for a pressie that Christmas. Tried to get into it, but it just seemed a bit disjointed, plus I couldn't remember which buttons to press when, due to someone talking through the bit where they tell you...

For me it's Mass Effect probably, started it but haven't really continued, once exams etc are out of the way I think I'm going to try and go back to it.
Minecraft was another, got it after loads of friends told me to, played a little, but never really felt the urge to play it unless asked to help someone else build something etc, watched Sips and Sjin's Tekkit series recently though, which has made me think I might give it another go after exams.
L4D2, got it for a tournament at a LAN, which was good fun, but never played it outside of tournaments since that LAN, since tried just playing through with some friends and just.....meh.

Apart from them I don't think there really are any, I mean I'm very mood dependent when it comes to games no doubt, not wanting to play some games for long periods of times, then getting into them massively for a couple of weeks etc. But there are very few I haven't enjoyed etc.

Minecraft? Are you kidding? I love that game. One game I couldn't get into, well 2 actually, was the black ops 1 & 2 from Call of Duty, much preferred the Modern Warfare by Infinitywards.

I loved San Andreas but GTA IV just didn't do it for me.

There are a couple of games I thought was a bit "blah", but I think that my expectation is not what it used to be so I don't really get massively disappointed (that, and the fact that I wait for prices to drop before I buy any game) nowadays.

Basically, nothing has managed to overshadow my disappointment for Half Life 1 (I paid full price, tried to like it, only to go back to SiN/Shogo until TF and CS came out). I know most people loved it but I was bored. I almost didn't want to try HL2 (which turned out to be one of my all time fav) because of the memory..

Total War! series

I tried to play them, I really did and as a lover of strategy and grand strategy, this should have been an ideal game.

I just found it frustrating and almost unplayable in places, plus with the ridiculous amounts of lag, it got uninstalled very quickly and added to my "why did I waste my money" pile.

I hated them also....until Shogun 2 which totally changed everything.

Must say, Rome 2 has already secured a pre-order from me on the hopes it follows Shogun 2s playstyle......and then there is the mother of all cross-over licenses coming afterwards: Warhammer: Total War!

I struggled to get into Skyrim to be honest, one of the best games I've ever played but couldn't even manage to finish it!
