Uh-huh. And the tooth fairy lives in a small cave at the bottom of my garden.

But there's a serious point in this story. Police, and I mean everywhere, have to assume that something that looks like a threat is a threat, until they can determine otherwise. So don't much about with anything even reasonably mistakeable for an actual gun, in anything resembling a public place, because police will assume it's real until they can be sure it isn't, and pointing it at them, or any third-party, just might get you shot.

And I don't just mean replicas, but anything that isn't clearly a toy.

You see on a security camera, them looking at this panic button, looking around, discussing it, then pressing it and looking around to see what happens. And nothing happened right away
From a company that thinks putting a life sized statue of a man in full mil gear and and assault rifle in the window looking out, is good idea and probably thinks it's funny.

I can see the situation where you come into work on monday and this unlabelled big red button has appeared, you think it's probably another of your bosses jokes so you push it.

I'm surprised the police haven't had more calls about the armed ma looking out of the window from the general public.

Yep I agree, probably need a lot of planning or arrangements to ensure no body get hurt. There was similar one for Britain got Talent in Convent Garden with no violence
