Wings Kickstarter relaunching tonight

Cinemaware....A well known name for quality back in the days when Amiga was king of the hill

They have launched Rocket Ranger on IOS and Android which is not to be missed

They are also relaunching the Wings kickstarter tonight with a playable demo this time round, if you are into classic and retro gaming it is well worth backing

This is one of my all time favorite games ever, been playing it loads on the Amiga past few weeks

Looks very interesting, although not really my type of game. The thing that fascinated me is that under the picture of the dev team it claims they've worked together for 30 years, but if the guy second right is any older than about 22 I'll eat my mousemat!

Now, where did I leave that chocolate mousemat I bought as a joke last christmas....

Downloaded the demo and played through it last night, its Wings but different in a good way.

For me I think they need to get a bit closer behind the pilot like the original, feels a bit weird, it is a very early prototype demo though.

At least I have my Amiga original which I have been playing through, halfway through November in the first year of the campaign and over 50 missions under my belt

I played this a lot on my Amiga when I was a kid. Managed to get one guy through the entire war without dying or getting fired; mainly due to a bug of saving the game after a successful mission and then reloading it reset the failure count, so you didn't get fired after three failures.

Wings... now that's a name that I haven't heard in a long time. There was something highly addictive about that game, so it's great to hear about this.

Hopefully it reaches its goal.
