LAN Centres in London

Hello! I'm new to this forum, but it popped up in some google searches. I was wondering if you all might be able to help. so, aside from the Trocadero (I've been there, and the machines were cool but the staff weren't really up to much), where else might I go to be part of a LAN community in London? Tournaments etc? Preferably in East London. Or, just generally a gaming community. Where people meet, play tournaments and chat about games. I've only really just moved to London, and I can't seem to find much in the way of gamer stuff.

I think that with fast broadband in most homes, LAN parties are rather uncommon now, unless they are attached to some sort of game expo.

LAN cafes died out years ago, due to the fast broadband as mentioned already. Think the place you mention do meetups and other stuff outside of normal hours.
