Oblivion sound track always takes me back to those moments in the game; definitely added a whole other level of immersion.
Weirdly, I also found the Unreal Tournament soundtrack to be perfect for the style of game.
The outlier would have to be Golden Axe, Atari ST.
Any Zelda game for me because they're so melodic that don't belong in any timeline making them classics in any era.
Majority of the Zelda game soundtracks are so melodic that they can easily be considered classical.
Alternate Reality on the Atari was quite a good piece at the time too!

I love the soundtracks in Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls online. Haven't played the other elder scrolls games so can't comment on them.
Definitely agree with Skyrim! Those moments where you'd be climbing up a seemingly impossible-to-climb mountain with that amazing soundtrack encouraging you to keep going (there probably was a quicker way around...)
I think the new game Ori and the Will of the Wisps has a pretty decent soundtrack too - reminds me of Spirited Away.

Witcher 3 OST is something I tend to listen to on a regular basis. Witcher 1 ost is not far behind, but the third games' it's more raw and slavic
The Last of Us part 2 has fantastic, atmospheric soundtracks.
