well? I have not followed the whole openGL vs D3, so I'm not shure what uses what! Could yous give me a list of the latest GL games?
Many thanks!

To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
So which one's better anyway - I thought OpenGL died out with 3dFX and the Voodoo cards!
Open GL all the way
the origional CS has D3D or OpenGL support...
if you have it / can afford £7.99 for a HL key then buy it, download CS and give it a go on both.. see which you prefer
IL-2 Forgotten Battles (and all expansions and off spins) run either DX or Open GL.
Open GL is the way to go.....period![]()

most games provide opengl as an options, generally it's engines like the quake engines (doom3, 100s of quake3 based games) that only give opengl as an option.
opengl is a little harder to proghram, but provides programmers with greater degrees of fine control - and it's cross-platform, making it easier to port a game to linux, mac, or console.
