Ummm... this is suposed to be good news? While doom was ok, I'd much rather see a Far Cry exspansion instead!

I didnt mind it tbh. OK, I was a bit spoilt by playing Far Cry first, but it was nowhere near the cruddyness of Unreal2, Breed or Daikatana.

DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil not only continues the single-player experience, but also performs a much-needed overhaul on the multiplayer aspect, with double the amount of possible players -- bringing the total up to eight -- in all new map
is there any point in raising it just to get 8 players?
mabye if they make the multiplayer faster and less laggy it would be good with 8 but even in perfect dark you could have like 16

sounds like a ploy to snare those people who stayed away after all the disappointing reviews. BTW, will this be retail?

I always thought demos were supposed to come out before the game, but after playing it I realise why id waited
