how to connect xbox360 to my NEC MultiSync PA271w monitor

Does anyone know how I can connect my Xbox360 to the NEC MultiSync PA271w Monitor?
I thought I needed to get a DisplayPort to HMDI but that doesnt seem to be working.

    Interfaces
    VGA,
    2 x DVI-D,
    DisplayPort

    Connections
    - DVI-Digital,
    - port,
    - USB

I used to run my 360 via the official VGA cable to my Dell 24". Actually got better colour than running over HDMI.

Audio can then be run it either an AMP or to the PC speakers (using a AUX > 3.5mm adapter)
