well if it has a co-op on the xbox which is obvious it will but not on the pc then no i won't waste any of my life playing a pile of steaming crap.

Also if its as poorly coded as the first the thats another reason why im not going to play it.

As for online, i probably STILL won't have net access by then...so nope

Well I skipped single player and had an initial 9 hour run on Live. During that time it was probably the slickest Live game I've seen, I had no lag at all. The locational voice is especially cool.

My advice to anyone thinking about buying the game would be to by from somewhere like 'GAME' and if you don't like it (which I doubt is going to be the case) then you can return it within 10 days. I'm sure you'll find a load of reviews on it though.

Halo 1 was so over-rated. The PC release, was as Beanfro said, terrible. I got a text from my parents asking if I wanted them to buy Halo 2 for christmas. No chance i said.

Ok graphics aren't the only thing, (if an issue at all in the quality of a game) but consoles just can't allow things to look any nicer. This means they hinge on gameplay alone improving, which is quite risky. I've not even finished playing through Halo 1 as a lot of it is repetitive. Why was this game so hotly anticipated?

and i havent mentioned xbox live...

Nope, i think the sole reason for me, and many others was the simple inclusion of a gameplay element that could literally save over half of the games currently out there.

Co-op, one of the most important, but most often missed gameplay element. That is the one reason I and my brother bought an Xbox And Halo on the release.

Amazing what a single gameplay element can do
