    FM 2005 Player Database

    Hello all,

I thought it'd be a good idea to share your bargain buys, or disaster buys by posting the players here...

The game arrived this morning, so after work I'm going to be playing it probably til the early hours... so this thread should help me out too!

So... if you've got a star buy, post the players name here!

    Cheers,
    Nick

A lot of S. American players are good, but I kept having problems with them settling in England so had to move them on. Like Crespo could be bought on the cheap, keeps scoring over 25 goals a season, but is never happy.

    Robinho, Tevez, Wesley Sneider.

If you can get the money, get Ronaldinho, he's like God in the game, head and shoulders above everyone else.....closely followed by Kaka.

Thing is, I'm Nottm Forest, so I can't attract those kind of calibre of players.

I need bargain basement, quality players.

frank de boer is a reasonable signing for a championship club. signed him on a free for ipswich. Even though he's 34 he's still decent. A disaster buy was David Poole from Man Utd for 160k. his finishing and pace are good, but the rest is rubbish.
