    NFSU 2 (Play.com USB PS2 to PC problem)

    Has anyone got this device to work with NFSU2 or have the same as me where you can't get the controller to work at all?

    I seem to be having a problem with NFS:U2 where all the textures except for the car seem very pixelated. Changing res does not effect this problem, any ideas?

    Here it is...

    Start-> Run-> Regedit-> HKLM-> System-> CurrentControlSet-> Control-> Media Properties-> Joystick-> OEM-> VID_0B43&PID_0003

    And delete the VID_0B43&PID_0003

    Apologies Allen, I remember you asked about it, but I couldnt find the thread that Russ had linked to. I thought it had been chopped and gone forever!

    Luckily it appears not!

    I've had no problems with this adaptor:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=8145397512

    I just got it today and I'm playing NFSU2 perfectly. Haven't tried it for any other game so far but I have no doubt it will work.

    @shogun - possibly try turning motion blur off and see if that helps. i remember in the original and no matter what res you cranked it up at, if motion blur was on then it always looked like it was at 1024! Worth a go, i guess.

    What I did was install the PS2 adapter, but used the default drivers. It worked fine and then I decided to use the proper provided ones and boom, it wouldn't even work at all in nfsu2, despite being properly detected in the game controllers control panel. So system restore came to the rescue. May not try the tweak as if it aint broke...

    It looks like the textures are at 320x240, its that bad, turned everything off and tried everything on and it hasnt changed.
