Kick Off 2 on the Spectrum. Had played it on the Amiga and prior to Sensi, it was the best footie game out there. My mate got it on his Speccy, and it was just terrible. They tried to make it so fast that you couldn't actually keep up with it, and the backheel function? What on earth was that about?

Nikopol on the PC. Why was this mess released? It's a point and click adventure based on some rather bizarre (and tedious) comics. The timed puzzle right near the start had me fuming. As someone who refuses to use walkthroughs or hints when playing adventure games it was not appreciated. Worst gaming experience I've had.

I really didn't like Batman Arkham Asylum. Just couldn't get used to the gameplay and it didn't get me interested.The combat felt kinda dull, just couldn't get interested in it, though I really wanted to try . Got it free in a humble bundle - Still feel dissapointed.

Its gotta be SpiceWorld on the PS1. No idea why i even played it. But my god it was horrible.

Space Taxi (ZX81). It was basically Flappy Bird but you had to enter all the game code manually to play the game. It would sometimes randomly generate a full column of blocks from the top to the bottom of the screen, making progress impossible.

Hell, everything on the ZX81 except Mazogs and 3d Monster Maze LOL ... I used to love going round to my friends houses that had beebs or even spectrums.

I have a bunch of friends who always used to rave about the early Metal Gear Solid games. They used to be amazed whenever the game asked them to press 'A' and then show them an animation of Snake doing something.

I would love the miss-pleasure of playing the 1982 epic flop E.T. for Atari 2600.

I know it's cliche but it just HAS to be E.T. I played it when it first came out, hyped up kid who cried during the movie. Could not figure out what was going on, mfw. Dad was going to take it back to the shop, thinking it was broke until I showed him the screen shots in the manual. Abysmal.

Two or three that spring to mind that were disappointing were Valhalla on the Speccy', Gorf (Control Technology) on the Speccy' and Pacman on the Atari VCS. Me and my Brother used to play Atari Pacman and Defender with our feet they were so easy...lol.

Worst game I've played is Skyrim (I know..). I just can't get into it - everything feels so overwhelming and I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to be doing to progress.
