Dawn of War - Insane Campaign.

Just wondering who's played through the campaign on Dawn of War, on the Insane setting?

I'm doing so now, up to mission 8, and its hard going after the first few missions I can tell you.

Anyone else doing this? Some of the middle missions, 6 and 7, are well hard. Makes you a much better player once you've fought through them, though.

You definitely can't be quite so gung ho about it. It's a shame the multiplayer sucked so much on that game.

Managed to get to mission 4 (The one with the squiggoth). Couldn't seem to get passed that thing without loosing buckets of men. Why can't they give me the Land Raider then

i made the mistake of playing the game first time round on insane, certainly puts up a challenge I can tell you, the final mission, jesus 3 hours just fending them off before i could launch an effective attack, physicallyhad to own the map point by point hold it and fortify it to get anywhere

I don't bother with the missions as much really. I tend to load up a 1 v 1 v 1 on an 8 player map with the housemates and to make things fair I have random teams all the time.

I was up till 2 am the other morning kicking some ork ass.

The mission on INSANE are just that... I still need therapy after the 4th mission I got rampaged every single time for days on end

I am still trying to master the Eldar's in this game, I can use the marines, chaos and orks without a problem but the eldar race I always get owned.

Eldar are a complex force, you have to use a true combined arms approach to winning. Bloody difficult I can tell you! Though the jump jets on the grav-tanks are handy!

EDIT: Weeeee Post 500 Avatar time!!!
