Transistor

If you haven't got it, well worth the 11quid on the PSN store.
So far I'm loving it. I've been professional coder for the better part of the past 4+ years so having to equip my character with 'functions', limited by the amount of 'memory' "Red" has is oh so geeky n' sweet.
Let me know what you think.

Re: Transistor
I watched the Good Game review of it a few months ago, it looked rather fun. I especially liked the silly features, like the main character just standing there and humming to the music. You can tell that the people who created this game really enjoyed making it. It's on my to buy list, just waiting for it to dip down to the £6-£8 mark on Steam.
Good Game gave it 8.75 out of 10.

Re: Transistor
It's got a whole lot of ambience and the turn based play is a nice touch. You don't have to use the turn-based mechanism and can button-mash through.
For the price, it's good value and I'm looking forward to finishing it - just gotten caught up in Diablo III!!

Re: Transistor
Indeed - the art is phenomenal, and the fun you can have mixing up the functions is awesome. Might have to hit it again this weekend.

Re: Transistor
Its from the same creators as Bastion, so you know the graphics, sound and gameplay will be very well done

Re: Transistor
The thing about Transistor is that the best way I can describe it is by calling it 'an experience'.
It doesn't have incredible game play, even though the system with functions and such can be very fun when creating your perfect move set, but the atmosphere of the game, the music, the aesthetic, the story and the general world around you, it's magnificent. There is no other way to describe it.
I agree with the sentiment that it is worth paying the 11 pounds for. Honestly, it's a steal at that price.
