Rise of The Tomb Raider

Oh yeah! Just what I've been waiting for, a sequel to 2013's Tomb Raider. But there's just one little thing that's pissing me off. WHY IS THE GAME ONLY BEING RELEASED FOR XBOX CONSOLES!!!??? I don't understand this! This means that I can't play it!! I've got a PS4, not an Xbox! The good thing is that there is good news that there will be a release on other platforms possible after an unspecified date. Also, Camilla Luddington will reprise her role from the previous Tomb Raider, and she has stated that she has already started voicing and motion capturing Lara Crofts for ROTTR. How does everyone else feel about this?

It's only a timed exclusive. Will obviously be released on PS4 and PC but I bet Microsofts lawyers have ensured they are not allowed to say when until much closer the time....especially when you read how carefully written the FAQ is on the subject.

All exclusives are bad for the industry IMO....but because of the "bad" sales of XBO, Microsoft are going to splash cash left-right-and-centre to try and get people to buy them, exclusive deals are going to be top of their list.

Given his signature I'd hazard a guess Shaithis may not be too bothered about consoles

PS3, although it's essentially a Gran Turismo and Naughty Dog box. Waiting for Unchartered 4 and GT7 before picking up a PS4.

I feel very unenthusiastic.
I got SO bored with TR2013 being essentially a shooter, with a bit of jumping and a couple of 30-second puzzles. The story itself was kinda pants and the acting/dialogue was just naff. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be another island survival/Far Cry rip-off or what.
TR in general isn't exactly the height of fictional achievement, but at least it was engaging...

No, I'm kidding... I really cannot wait for another game where I get pop-ups telling me I need to jump on that ledge, followed by Lara looking directly at the ledge, followed by Lara saying, "I think I need to jump on that ledge"... I love having my hand held throughout games....
