Downloaded it on the off chance it didn't NEED a X800 XT to run and it doesn't... (don't expect it to run quick unless you've got one - or a 6800 GT - though).

EDIT: Actually - without 4x AA switched on - it runs just fine

It *might* need a DX9 card then (ti 4200 = dx 8.1 IIRC?)

Runs fine on my 9600PRO at 1024*786 4*aa.. though a *bit* laggy when changing some scenes... but after the first second, its fine

That was run after the computer had been up for many hours of gaming too...

Do you reckon Crytek will be able to use this for Far Cry 2? Or are we gonna have to wait a while for more powerful gfx cards to handle all this plus the AI, physics etc?

Right does this require an ATi card in order to work at all? i have a gforce fx5200 [crap i know] but wondered if it would run it???

It should run though not well because its a crap card

needs a 6800 or an x800 card to run decent i imagine

Looks good on my GF 6800GT, although i do get an odd blurryness on some areas of the screen. I ran through the demo a couple times and it happens in the same places. I got a screen shot of it here, the left hand side of the thing on the table is fine but there is a definate line down the middle where it gets blurry on the right hand side.
