    Found One :)

a Co Op game for me and Rias to have a shoot at.

and in the most Un likely and yet Likely of places.

    PS2 Half Life

have spent all this time looking for a PC game....and there it was staring me in the face. Arguably one of the finest games ever made, and working find on a console, that sits under her telly

Split screen is left to right, so ya get a speaker each (I guess)
    wil try it tonight

You could've always tried Sven Co-op, if you have a network.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Its the refresh rate on the PS2 to tv that makes you sick. If I dont have the refresh on my monitor at 75 or above then I start feeling sick and get a really bad headache. Even though it doesnt look like the screen is flickering it is and thats what is causing it. You seen PCs on a news item on tv the way it looks with the lines across the pc screen. Thats it basically.

Yeah eventually when I have the funds, my crt is pretty damned good though. Just up the refresh rate and I'm sorted.

Thing is with a PS2 on a standard tv you dont get to do that hence why certain games will give you a headache if you are susceptible to it, suppose its kind of epilepsy indirectly. Kind of what the warnings in the front of the game manuals are going on about.

Maybe you are sitting too close to the TV? Do you have a 60hz TV?

I usually only notice the refresh when im watching someone else play. But then again, do you get sick watching TV?

All the TVs in my house are 60hz compatible, and i know a lot of high-end TVs run at 100hz for flicker-free image.

I know what you mean about the low refresh on a PC monitor, im still confused about these people saying they feel a bit sick playing games on TV due to refresh rate, sounds like a load of bollocks to me.

And you say this affects only console FPS? Have you watched someone on a PC FPS?

Sounds a bit like how i used to get car sick, then when i got interested in the driving and paid more attention to what the car was doing in relation to the road, being a passenger is no problem now. But i've never had a problem watching someone play FPS
