hmm dissapointing of course but valve should be given the time to finish this properly. We can blame the tarts in marketting for the "never gona happen september release date". And as Nemeliza says it will give nvidia a chance to sort out their cards drivers and such. I have a tnt2 right now (dont laugh ) and am planning an uprgrade (probably 9600pro) but i was gona get a 5600ultra and it turns out that would have been a bad move. Hope they can get this sorted as the idea of owning game specific hardware is not appealing

is concerned... "I have never said any date other than September 30th."

I can see it getting pushed to nov maybe,
but not 02/04 as that will be around the time d3
will be coming out, and for commercial reasons
I can,t see hl2 and d3 coming out around the same time.

I Reckon millions are w8ting for hl2, I havnt played
a single player fps in a couple of months....looking forward
to some lights off action with hl2

Anyways will know if it is rel 30sept if it goes Gold
by this Monday...If that happens...then sept 30th
will be the rel date.
