Is there anyway of getting this to work in Source.

All I can think of is making sure those 2 keys arn't assigned / not used within the game itself ? If they are that will most likely be the prob, most fps games use the tab key for objectives on a level
yeh tab is assigned to scorecard, but its strange that it should make it blank screen instead either working/showing score.
also it does it on the main menu, when no game is loaded, and still blank screens.
just one of those annoying things i suppose.
having said that it works fine in doom3. and tab is the pda gizmo in that.

The computer can't cope with running CS:S and other stuff. It works fine at the menu but takes time in a game.
*woops!*

Did you post in the wrong thread? It could be me but I can't see what this has to do with the prior posts in this threadOriginally Posted by utdmleach

I do it all the time. I still have tab as scorecard, and I use alt for activating the mic in teamspeak. It changes from game to desktop quickly enough, but takes a bit longer doing the opposite.Originally Posted by iMc
The strange thing is that you seem to have the same system specs as me, just with a different type of memory.
must be something else stopping me then.... hmmmm i cant work it out...

Works fine on mine....
Though HL2 has bogged up a few times when alt+tabbing.
nah the screen just goes black with the windows curser on it.
the same happens if msn messenger pops up and i click on the lil box.

works fine on mine, tho its annoying when it happens tho as I have tab for scores and alt for Teamspeak o.O so it often gets hit by accident
i just dont use alt,
and i have voice activation for ts, however much u guys hate it

Works fine for me, although it's a bit slow getting back into CS:S and sometimes the textures mess up.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
try different gfx card drivers?

Had this problem in other games. In those games it was due to the fact that my game resolution was the same as my desktop and that was causing some crap. Don't know if it will work but its worth a try.
