    HalfLife 2 easy?

Did anyone else think that HL2 was amazing but far to easy? I played on hard to begin with and can't help feel it was not much of a challenge. It was a nice lengh so making it harder would have got even more gaming hours out of it. oh well.

I don't know - I found on hard I was more worried about staying alive then picking up the subtleties of the plot.

I enjoyed frantically lobbing grenades back at the enemy when they came landing next to me.

I don't think it was too easy, but an even harder difficulty level wouldn't go amiss.

I found the vast majority of the levels very easy on the hard setting. I think I only reloaded about three times through the whole of Ravenholm. The hardest bits IMO were the two gunships outside Nova Prospekt and the sentry gun bit in Nova Prospekt. Both really simple compared with certain levels in Call of Duty such as the final trainyard level in the expansion pack or holding off the Germans for five minutes at Pegasus bridge. Difficult but by no means impossible.

i just whacked it on hard the first time

i found it easy, but easy is sometimes good because it doesnt frustrate me as much-i would keep on dying otherwise

the reason it was easy is because the guns were far to powerful/accurate and the ai weapons werent dangerous enough

i enjoyed the c17 bits fighting the striders, but didnt need to reload much through the game at all really.....

i dont normally buy these games, but i think it is alright, i just find it hard to locate the knobs, switches and handles

some parts are more obvious than others

i am enjoying it, and the graphics are lush"

That's why I played it on Medium.
I like a bit of a challenge, but games that are too annoyingly difficult just get on everybody's nerves. I wanted to gather the plot and view the lovely graphics
