    Gaming Headsets for PC

As per the title, I need a new headset. Bearing in mind, with me having hearing issues (hard of hearing):-

    Requirements

    1. Comfy
    2. Adjustable Volume
    3. Wireless or Wired
    4. Reliable
    5. Noise Cancellation

    Any suggestions welcome

    Re: Gaming Headsets for PC

I can't think of any gaming sets that have active noise cancellation (unless you're talking about just the microphone part). You're talking quite specialist travel equipment otherwise and it works best with non-random noise caused by mechanical rotation anyway

I would instead recommend noise-insulating, ie fully closed back headphones. I have sennhieser pc350 type headphones and can recommend them:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-S.../dp/B013BL1J7M

Note 150 ohmn impedance, so you ideally want a headphone amp on your soundcard/separately.

I have the PC350SE and it does not job well IMHO. It can be had on and off from Amazon for around the £80 mark on special offers.

Steelseries 200, can't go far wrong, especially for the £60 price.

HyperX Cloud II are the most comfortable headphones/headset I've used, and I've owned a fair amount! Decent noise isolation mic is good, the built in DAC is actually useful. Surround sound is one of the better ones if it's your sort of thing and superb sound quality (they sound like £80 headphones).

Have this one also, they're great!
Very comfortable, it doesn't hurt my ears!
I'm not an audophile so don't know how they sound compared to other headsets but to me they sound good.
I don't think they have noise cancellation (as in outputting an opposite noise so you don't hear it, or however that works) but they do block outside sound really well. Which is one of the main reasons I went for this one.
What's really handy is the connectivity options. You can use the usb cable with the external sound card, or just straight up the audio pin. There's even an airplane adapter included in the nice travelling bag it comes with.

    I recommend it.
