I saw that... I got the game, but not all the DLCs :(
Glad i have all DLCs..looks like it will be 64-bit too which should make the mod makers happy!
I bought the Hearhfire addon when it was announced the other day just to get the upgrade!!!
My son loves Skyrim he plays it on xbox 360, he said he wanted the Remastered edition when it comes out.
I bought him the legendary PC edition on steam for £13.99 so in theory he should get the upgrade for free (Well £13.99 i suppose) in october :)
God I haven't even got the time to play the original Skyrim yet.. haha
I'm a bit confused, isn't there already an HD graphics pack for the PC. Between this and the available mods, I'm not sure what Bethesda will add to the game that makes it worth buying again, or even downloading it again. Will there be any significant new content added?
Brings the engine up to the Fallout 4 engine, basically for the PC the difference will be minor, slightly better textures, lighting etc, Biggest change will be the fact the engine is 64bit not 32bit so should be a modders heaven.

No new content save for x64 compatibility as stated below. They're just doing 'officially' what the modders have done on the PC version years ago. IMO the PC version is a wash (hence giving it away,) it's really a way of selling the higher res textures to the console crowd who have migrated from PS3/X360 to PS4/XBONE.
