    Game folder help..

    Game folder help..

    Ok this may sound crazy! But since I installed medal of honour there is a really EA games folder in my doc’s now I like to keep my doc in a neat way (sad I know) so can I redirect this folder elsewhere?

    It is possibly where all EA saved games are located.

    Right on the money. You can move it normally I think, but to be safe I’d fix it by uninstalling MOH and then reinstalling it and change the folders default install location. Don't forget to make a copy of the folder labeled "saves" (or something like that) before uninstalling and then replace it after reinstalling.

    A lot of games seem to stick stuff in the my docs folder and you dont really have much say in the matter.

    i only play the online game so it has no saves.... really bugs me!! ARAGAHHH! i had no choice of where to let the 'EA Games' folder go!

    Only thing I can think of is create a shortcut to the folder but that still takes up space.

    Other than that I don't think there is a way to change it's location, maybe have a poke around in the registry? (becareful though)

    i tried hiding the folder and it would not load, maybe i mucked up! i hate it there!! ARAAGGHH!

    How could hiding the folder mess it up.
    All it does is stops the folder being accessed via the GUI

    if you were to type in the file path of a hidden folder you can access it.

    if i went to
    C:\Documents and Settings\Myhiddenfolder

    i eould be able to view that folder.

    Yer, just hide it.. simple

    Right click on the folder, properties, tick the hidden box... bobs ur uncle... done

    Why didn't I think of that, get sick of all them game save folders appearing in my documents.
