World Of Warcraft!!!
edit: sorry for not going into any more details more maybe not listing a few other good games coming out... just this is all im waiting for now, open beta will finish in a couple of weeks and then week later retail is released and get to join to the biggest selling mmorpg to date

Been playing kotor2 for the last few days and its good but its just making want to play the 1st again
Its basicly the same as the 1st (not really a bad thing!) with different characters and not as good story line IMO. Worth playing tho
edit: one thing is that it does seem longer than the first which is nice.

PS2 not PC I know, but for me the game of the year is going to be Gran Turismo 4
Only another month to go, assuming it doesn't slip again.

Another vote for World of Warcraft, absolutely amazing game never played anything like it.
Resident Evil 4 and Battlefield 2
World of WarCraft should be an amazing hit in the UK if it doesn't suffer from blizzards horrible server control like the in North America. I too hope Quake 4 turns out really good since I was a huge fan of all of they're other games. Unfortunately what I’ve heard I don't like. Out side of that Resent evil 4 is hit or miss for most people when they play it. I personally have a ton of faith in it. Aside from that, anything with implicating the CryENGINE will be big I hope
