    Titanfall 2

As title states, anyone else dived into this yet?

Been playing it non stop on PS4, campaign is REALLY enjoyable and lovingly crafted with some amazing set pieces and humour with your Titan. Each level has its own thing and used throughout, you may find yourself running along walls traversing the environment or using a special arc gun that opens doors and activates robot sentries and so on.

The multiplayer is astounding, I am not one for multiplayer gaming usually but this has gotten it's teeth into me, playing the hardpoint type matches where you amp the points to get double score, do well and you can call in your Titan for some Robot Jox style battling while the rest of your team manages ground control and capturing the areas.

Such an awesome game, alongside Doom this has to be my GOTY

    Re: Titanfall 2

    Been reading and seeing a lot of good things about Titanfall 2 lately, but two things really worry me;

    a) EA
    b) It costs a whopping £49.99

As there is no demo, maybe I'll pick it up when it's on sale for under £20.

    Re: Titanfall 2

Concerns over EA, fair enough warranted but if you have PS4 or XB1 go for it on console over PC so not having to use Origin.

I can't put it down, finished the campaign and loved every minute of it, now hammering the multiplayer on it and like Amped Hardpoint best.

Another thing to worth mentioning is that the Day 1 patch on PS4 was only 90Mb in size and there is no season pass or micro transactions, so literally whatever Respawn decide to add to the game in the future, maps and game modes no doubt for multiplayer they will be completely free.

Definitely think this has to be my GOTY!

Have to agree, the lack of campaign in TF1 made me wonder what the TF2 campaign would be like. Would they just go through the motions? or actually put in some effort. Thankfully they put in a lot of effort!

I found myself really enjoying the campaign. Also, without giving any spoilers, they have added some gameplay elements and story that came totally out of left field, gives you a whole new element to think about whilst playing which was very well executed and kept under wraps to not spoil it for the gamer.

Just finished the campaign on Master and now have the seemingly impossible task of trying to get the last achievement "...Becomes the Master".

    Re: Titanfall 2

I thought the campaign for Titanfall 2 was incredible. Every mission was carefully designed and it never felt like a mechanic was overstaying its welcome (anyone who's played will know what mission I'm referring to). It's a shame that its been sandwiched between CoD and Battlefield because it really is fantastic.

I agree that the campaign was good, but I returned TF2 - just wasn't what I thought I'd be getting in the multiplayer

    Re: Titanfall 2

So I've been playing the beta on XBO for a good few hours and so far, I would say it is much better than it's predecessor. They've really expanded on the content side and the game play feels so much more fluid.

Shame it wasn't marketed very well, people are saying it's as good as BF1.
