That brings back memories.... I must have either used or owned nearly all of them at some time or other from when I first got a Commodore +4 back in 1986. Fire ant and Treasure Island... Those were the days!
nearly all of them- Jeez I'm a geek
top 1 was with the atari 2600
The next two I had on my Atari ST and the quickshot joystick with adjustable stiffness and tension was PERFECT for gaming. No matter what game you played with it you could adjust the stiffness to your liking - well light, medium and strong.
Konix Speed King - How many did I break playing Daley Thompsons decathlon - what a silly place to put the fire button when placing it on the floor to wiggle as fast as you could.
Logic 3 Action Pad AM JT164 - heh - first direction pad I ever bought.
Quickjoy Megaboard SV-128 - the timer was superb idea and I loved the whole "huge and bulky" feel - made my gaming easier![]()

them were t' days
Wow, I used the Quickshot 2 to complete xwing when windows 3.11 was out on a P90 with, wait for it, 64mb ram and a whopping 750mb hard drive. Loved the way you had to flick the little blue button to change from rolling the xwing to pitching it.
I still have all the diseases I picked up from licking the rubber feet and trying to stick it to the desktop.![]()
I still have 5 of those QuickShot sticks somewhere, all in workng order last time I used 'em .
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
Me to. God they made my arms/wrists hurt. Most joy sticks of that era were crap, even for then. I remember as a kid in the 80's thinking, "god these are crap, why can't they make them any better?". The top heavy desgin and narrow bases ment i constantly flipped them over onto thier side. Maybe i was just crap. Ah, Fond memories all the sameOriginally Posted by WildmonkeyUK

I broke more quickshot 2's than I care to remember - Daley Thompsons decathalon, I hold you responsible!
Kempston competetion Pro; Now THERE was a stick to behold....
ROFLMAO. Jeez I remember that. You needed one hell of a wrist to complete the 800m. I'm sure the makers of that game were in league with the jostick manufaturers.Originally Posted by Jiff Lemon
