    How will it HL2 look on my PC?

    How will it look on my PC?

    Shuttle SB51G
    P4 2.53
    ATI 9800 AIW
    1024mb RAM
    WinXP SP2

    Will it look ok? Or am I going to be disappointed?

    You're going to be pleasantly surprised Coco mate, have a similar spec and its running in 1024x768 with all detail set to max except water reflections (Thats with an FX 5700 LE card havnt tried it since I got my Rad 9600 Pro back)

    You should be able to run with all graphical options at their highest, you may need to tone down AA and AF though.

    Personally i'm happy with the performance of HL2 on my machine, max settings, 1280x960, 4xAA, 8xAF. That's with a 2500+, 9800Pro, 1GB Ram.

    Even on watery maps like Aztec?
    I'm on recommented settings apart from vsync, I've had to tweak the config slightly to give me a constant ~60fps on my rig, no AA of AF.....
    What cats u using?

    I normally run CS:S on lower detail, but I quickly upped the settings to what I use in HL:2 and took a screenshot of the place where I get the lowest FPS.
