Will it look ok? Or am I going to be disappointed?

Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
Should run fine chap...
You should be able to run with all graphical options at their highest, you may need to tone down AA and AF though.
Personally i'm happy with the performance of HL2 on my machine, max settings, 1280x960, 4xAA, 8xAF. That's with a 2500+, 9800Pro, 1GB Ram.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
game still looks good even in low detail.
Even on watery maps like Aztec?Originally Posted by yamangman

What cats u using?
I normally run CS:S on lower detail, but I quickly upped the settings to what I use in HL:2 and took a screenshot of the place where I get the lowest FPS.

I used cats 4.10 - 5.1.
