Never really liked Battlefield 1942 that much, so I never tried Battlefield Vietnam. UT2004 is great online, with decent bots and plenty of mods like Frag Ops or Alien Swarm.

Battlefield nam takes ages to load on my comp which is way over the min requirments, pretty hard to fly planes even on decent servers, if ur not playing with friends it can become tedious. Ut2004's online servers aren't newbie friendly, unless you've played the other UT's you'll find yourself being thrashed over and over causing chronic depression, mostly thanks to clan Omega . So practice first.

Not forgetting you have the single player side of things with UT2004 so if you havnt got time a quick single player blast is there and waiting.

Battlefield games are online only I believe

No BF:V has instant battle like the previous BF games. Although for me BF:V was a big waste of money. i played UT2004 for a bit and it was fun. Have you tried Counter Strike: Source yet? if not i suggest you get it and join us in the Hexus.net server

heh, Omega has nothing to do with HEXUS
We (Omega) are just some UT2004 Euro players that have been together for a couple of years.
If anyones up for a game, just shout
