Is it my idea or do the monsters look even more retarded with every new release...
I miss the good old FPS. :O

Very Pretty. What kind of graphics card will you need to run U3 smoothly though? GeForce10?

NOTHING TO BE SEE HERE, MOVE ALONG PLEASE....

the U3 engine looks incredible, I can't wait.
Bunjiweb, the engine utilises a blend of well defined meshes, and highly complex textures, most of the complex 'bump' effects in the images are acctually textures, they have real image depth, so I'm thinking a x800XT will be a minimum requirement :S

One thing I have noticed time and time again with the Unreal engine. They develop it so that it looks really amazing no matter what spec you have, Unreal 2 looked amazing with 800x600 and medium detail settings and run smooth as silk (Ran Unreal 2 on a GeForce 4 4200 card with 1700+ processor and 512 ram)
Hopefully we will see this again with Unreal 3, bit of luck it will run nicely with a high mid range system as this is what most people have in their home and if you have a top range system all the better.
UT2004 ran really well on my system before I put my Rad 9600 Pro in with high detail settings in 1024x768. If this is anything to go on then we should be getting something special.
Looking at the shots the monsters look fantastic, one of the shots (one in the city street) kinds looks a bit like HL2 but darker and more sinister
looks amazing. hopefull it will scale well as Ferral points out. some of the detail in those shots is very impressive.
deffo gonna need to unlock the xtra pipes on my 6800 for this

Does everyone remember when the Unreal 2 screenshots were first released? They looked amazing (for the time), but a lot of the detail was faked.
And then when the game was released, everyone realised that the actual game was pap.
I'm sceptical, as ever.
Agent is correct, its the U3 engine... I havn't heard of any news of Unreal 3 the game in development yet, even thought I would love it if they did, I've been a big Epic fan ever since Unreal was first released, that game made me crack open my piggie bank to splash out on an uber-cool Voodoo 2, and I was like WOWWW when I got it, never looked back since.
Exactly was i was about to sayOriginally Posted by Agent
Those screenshot do look amazing, and regarding the specs needed to run it, the 6800U was the first card to be able to run it with double figure FPS Bt i think it's over a year away now so no real need to worry., and ofcourse you should expect the normal delays
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
Wheres the vids at Agent?

looks cool, I look forward to what they are going to do with it...and how much power we need 'under the hood' to play it!

If it isnt Unreal 3, I wonder if it is actually from a game thats being put together on the engine that has had no info released about it yet.
