    Talking America's Army

What are your opinions of America's Army. Is it worth downloading (I have a 1Mb connection but still would take time!). My machine - don't laugh (1GHz Athlon, 512MB 133MHz SDRAM & ATi 9200SE) - is above the recommended spec. will it be worth it though?

Its a really good game very detailed and realistic, I used to play alot although I was eventually put off as there wasnt many euro servers to play on, mostly US servers. On 1 mbit tho you'll be fine to play on US servers.

Yep is a good game, but the learning curve is vertical. Takes a lot of effort to be good enough to help your team. Is probably the most realistic of FPS games. But heyits free just leave it dloading overnight. Also a note, you have to complete training before you can play online.

sorry if this is bringing back a dead thread, but all the americas army threads are real old and id like to participate in them

@david no i dont think they ever made one like that. btw the latests version is 2.8 with javelin rockets and a humvee to drive and shoot, and for all of you who can't do sf training but want to play it then download 2.6 version because most if not all pipeline maps are sf modded - ie you dont need sf training to play it.
