Probably going to get it on W10, but the price is eye watering if you go for the loaded version. Maybe Hexus can hook up some licenses like they did with Gears 4
Getting Ultimate. HYPED!
To anyone that's interested, you'll probably be interested in this competition as well

GT will always hold a place in my heart, and I've had the collectors edition of GT Sport pre-ordered for months. But Forza does look nice, I can play it with my "cool" PCMR friends, and it has damage.
Can't say one is better than the other, but no harm in having both
Forza is expensive. I have been looking at the Microsoft_Bloat store for a while, hardly any of the best games even after a year have gone down in price. Compared to places like steam & origin. The graphics & gameplay for Forza are much better than the Dull GT. Yes GT is the best simulator out there (I dont know anything about Project Cars 2), but after so many years its just dull. Forza.. its the little touches of Rain down the windscreen, the helicopter flying by, the water puddle reflections that give it a much better atmosphere.
To expensive for me but then again I feel bad whenever I spend £10+ on a game!
MS have stitched themselves up with pricing by enforcing Play Anywhere. Play Anywhere is a good idea, it allows you to buy the game once and play it across XBONE and PC, with your preferences and saves following you between the two. If you have both systems this is a nice benefit. If you don't then it adds nothing.
The problem lies in the SKUs available:
1. A physical XBONE disc copy for a RRP of £50. This version does not support Play Anywhere, but can be sold on/traded in and is a bout the standard price for an AAA release on the platform.
2. A Play Anywhere digital copy on the MS Store (accessible on XBONE or Win10.) This can be played on both and is priced the same as the physical copy at £50. You can't trade it in but if you own both systems you're effectively sacrificing the trade in value to receive 2 versions of the game which seems fair. They can't price it cheaper as it'll undercut sales of the disc version.
That's it. There is an XBONE only version, and a both systems version, but NOT a PC only version. As a result if you only have a PC you end up drastically overpaying for a release (that's at least £10 overpriced for a PC game,) without having the benefit of 2 versions. Solving this is trivial: Put a PC only SKU on the store, then you can price it competitively. For some reason they can't/won't.
Won't.
I have had forza since day 1, and GT Sport since day 1 - I put a few hours in to Forza but it was buggy and nowhere near what I expected it, MS playing hardball on a refund as well. GT Sport has been a pleasant surprise. Not as many cars but it looks and feels like a much better and more solid game. Quickly running out of offline stuff to do, and generally taking a pasting online still, cannot wait to get it going in VR
Will get them both sooner or later.
Don't have a lot of time at the moment, which is making it easier to say no to the high prices.
Always preferred GT but Horizons 3 did win me over...

I picked up the ultimate edition. It comes on both x1 and PC. the PC version is soul-destroyingly broken. I get multiple CTDs and it really puts me off playing what is otherwise a great game. An update came out yesterday for the PC version but it didn't help with any of the crashes. :/
