Grand Turismo 4

Looks like Grand Turismo 4 is finally coming out on February 22 after numerous delays.

From the screeshots I have seen from it, it looks pretty good.

Same day as the Nintendo DS and various other big titles by the looks of it.

No not in this version spike. I reckon they are saving it for PS3 IF they can get the manufacturers to allow it.

GT5 has been semi-confirmed to have that. The PS2 couldnt handle it, but nobody was really expecting it anyway. Its done more than enough as it is.

Something to look forward to with the next one i guess. I plan on staying on the road myself

I can't wait till GT4, I've played absolutly every game in the series to death. This wait seems to have been so much longer than waiting for GT2...

Anyone read anything about the pholyphony team developing a motobike game? Apparently they got a load of bikes in for one of their track tests (for testing car handling etc)?

As for damaging.. It'd be a nice touch, but not essential. I somehow doubt they'll be able to get all of the car manufacturers to agree to licence car damage. Ferrari won't even licence their undamaged cars

Games are always released on the Friday, which is the 11th. It is confirmed by Sony as that date and the date appears on all their magazine ads for GT4...


As for the game itself... Its been getting surprisingly "low" scores on most review sites. Obviously some 10/10s from idiot fanboys. But the independent sites and magazines are awarding it 7s and 8s out of 10s.......not quite so perfect eh? GTR got a higher score in latest edition of Edge.

PS2s are pretty cheap now, and you missed out by not playing the 2nd and 3rd
