    Tell me about it.

The video of the missile going through the helicopter's open bit was fantastic. Plus, the phsyics etc look incredible.

I'm rooting for BF 2 and Rainbow Six 4 to be the 2 best games of the year (in my humble eyes anyway)

You know what it reminds me of?

Everything that they said would be in *whisper it* Team Fortress 2.

    Lol, yeah.

One thing that also impressed me, that you saw very very lightly in BF Vietnam, was sand. Yes, sand.

When the tank moved, or rebounded back after firing, u see the sand around the tank flow back. It looks so impressive and realistic.

Also, I wish they'd employ some of the Point Of Existence team to design. Their work is awsome. I also hope the planes are much faster in BF 2.

Anyone else here bought a Saitek X52 btw?

I'm in two minds about it to be honest. While I must admit it looks very cool I said the same thing before the bitter dissapointment that was Battlefield Vietnam was released, lets just hope it was the jungle setting that ruined it. :/

no i think battlefield vietnam was not a let down, i bought it recently and have been enjoying online gaming with it

however i wish there were more clans because there are loads of idiots who ruin it and dont play seriously

you can imagine this with the whole command system on battleifled 2, its gonna be amazing when people play seriously but rubbish when its lamers who dont play well together

i also hope the fix all the physics clumsyness on this new engine-the old one makes me feel sick occainsionally

i wonder if battlefield 2 will bring with it the surprise release of EA games 'Steam type app' which i dont doubt they will have thought about, would be good for there games

One steam is enough for me tbh! Let alone one from EA.

I'm definately gonna get this. I've just seen some more pics, and one level looks like an island with a mainland section. Looks awsome.

Some of the videos look amazing... but the gameplay video I saw looked just like DC. And I hope they haven't dumbed down the helis like they did in Vietnam. DC had perfect handling in my opinion

Graphics do not make a game, one of the poorest things about previous BF games has been the bots that where absolutely useless. Playing online is fine if you enjoy that sort of thing but it is a game thats been out a good year, its called DC. Graphics don't matter so much when you are playing against humans.

I hope features outweigh the rest of the time and effort spent on graphics.
