    Beasts and Bumpkins

For just about every other decent game I've played, somebody else has played it. Yet, none of my friends have ever played Beasts and Bumpkins - have any of you? Or is it just too obscure?

I have, this game was quality. You had peasants and needed to get them to have kids and the women would say "oh time for a bit of rumpy pumpy"

Ah, finally somebody else who's played it! Did you ever manage to finish it?

    Strategy in the game

I've played it a long time ago and just recently installed it again. it does work on windows xp u know. Just put the cd in and right click on setup.exe and change the compatibility to windows 95 modus. Then just install it cause the register files will be installed correctly now so u can play.

Anyways what is your strategy in this game?

I always build alot of houses and just some wells with 2 bakerys then go on with soldier building.

I just build the basics to start (chicken, backery, house, well). From there, I just build one house and one well in a nice criss cross pattern, adding backeries as appropiate. On most building levels, all you can hear is "Waahays!".
