    Where for Half Life 2 Map Packs

    Is there a complete map pack that can be downloaded that will contain all the maps?
    Where's the best palce to grab them?

    www.halflifefiles.com has four huge (60-90MB) map packs and other downloads. There's also http://halflife2.filefront.com, although I haven't used that one.

    BTW, (anyone else) where should I be unzipping these packs to? I've put them in Steamapps\HL2Deathmatch\[username], but servers still try to download them to me, and most are v e r y s l o w

    Cheers guys, will take a look when I get home from work. Seems daft not to get as many maps as poss when not actually on the server. Its faster for me to grab the map packs rather than letting the game D/L them.
    It'll put my 2meg line to some good use, rather than just playing games

    Got um Make things a little easier
    Been playing UT2004 though tonight. Makes a bit of a change.

    Thats because they go in

    \Steam\SteamApps\<you username/email>\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\maps
