    Cheaters in HL2 Deathmatch

How many of the cheats/bugs are going to be addressed with Valve's patch today? I have a couple of favourite servers I don't usually venture outside of, but they were empty last night, so I went elsewhere.

I'd read the sticky thread on Steampowered about bugs, and boy did I find them last night. A kid playing as a destroyed Combine scanner - LIL Scanny if you see him, and two invisible skins in the space of two servers.

Why do these people do it? Don't they care that if enough of it happens, people will just stop playing the game? When are we going to get decent ban and kick commands for the servers to get rid of these t***s?

I think Valve's steam patch today will cover issues with HL2 DM, it should prevent folks using invalid models including headcrabs, filing cabinets and others.

Hopefully. What server do you play on guys? Perhaps we can arrange a Hexus battle? Since I dropped AA/AF and trueform, my accuracy with the crossbow has gone through the roof

I usually play on a custom map called DM_gasworks. It's a good combination of indoor and outdoor areas and has recently gone up to 16 slots from 10. I'll post the IP when I get home (5:30 ish). I play using my Hexus username, so you'll recognise me.

I normally play the Mutiplay.Co.uk servers, but there has been a few headcrabs on there recently. My favourite map has got to be steamlab.

I play under the name of Stelf.

Steamlab is bugged to hell, though. At least it is on the server's I've played. I'll look you up

I thought there were problems with missing weapons, corrupted physics objects etc. Maybe it's a server specific problem, but on some objects would fly around of there own accord, player models would skip all over the place etc.

Google for steamlab bugs or have a look on steampowered.com, I'm sure you'll find something.

I think HL2-DM is ok, what would you recommend as an alternative then XA04?
