I've pre-ordered it because, (and I'm going to say something contraversial on these here forums), I liked Doom3. Didn't pretend to be anything it wasn't. Much like Painkiller & Serious Sam, just better graphics.

TBH I think the people that liked Doom III (I liked it) are the sort of epopel that can enjoy a good horror film. Whilst the gameplay my not have been that great, like the plot on your average horror film, its the jumpiness etc that made it for me
This is an expansion pack I'll be looking at getting when I have the money.

    Anybody getting this?
    I'm interested...
    http://www.doom3portal.com/media/roescreenshots.php

By the way, anybody remember this guys below?
He was in the early production pics of Doom3 back in 2002. Looks a lot more sinister than the Imp.
I guess they removed him from Doom3 & re-added him in the expansion.
Pity, he would have looked cool in some places in Doom3.

Well I'm in the minority too then - the original was terrible, so I don't have much hope for this one.
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

It's funny that people complained about Doom3 being too dark, well I tried Alien Vs Predator 1 Marine campaign & boy is that dark! You can't even turn off the night gogles without running into an Alien. It just sucks! It's icredible how bad this game is (Gameplay & graphics) & no I'm not comparing it to modern FPS but even for 1999 standards this was unacceptable!
Just compare it to Unreal 1 & HL1 that looked so much ahead of their time.

Doom3 is awesome imho.(Gameplay, story, graphics, atmosphere)
