Anyone still play the original UT?

I don,t know about you guys,
but the orignal ut imo was and still is
the best online fps ever made....
been on my hard drive since 99,
even thou I don,t ply much nowadays
I still keep on going back to it...
It,s the only game I play online.

    Anyone still play ut?
Maybe we can have a game sometime!

I still play when i can. I was and always will be a CTF nut, it's kinda sad there are only most face or IG servers these days. Shock whoring is still as fun as it ever was too. I tried to get into 2k3 but it just wasnt gunna happen. UT was my first online game, and i won't ever forget it /sniff.

I was one of thos who was really disapointed
with ut2003 or should i call it quake 3 1/2

The graphics on 2003 undoubtley better,
but the game play...imo not as good
as the original ut, the whole physics and
    the way you dodged changed.

    petrefax...i hope your enjoying it,
I rem when I 1st got it way back in 99,
    fell into it almost immediately.

no1sdn.........ut was my 1st online game
as well, what a way to start hay
only prob is 4 yrs l8tr and there,s still
nothing else that tops it imo.
I have to say I never was a ctf player,
    more dm and 1v1.

sirus I used to play all the time as well
exp in 2000, but then had months not
    playing, nowadays it,s the occasional
    frag up

My only claim to ut fame is
that I started the 56k only ladder
on clanbase...coz i was sick of getting
    challenges by lpbs

UT is still the No.1 game that I have on the LAN. After all with 4.7GB of maps etc, its just impossible for us to get bored of it.

Its got some bits that are better & worse than UT2K3 as has already been said, I myself do prefer the original over 2K3, however, if I had an easier way to get some of the maps from UT to 2K3 I would quite probably use 2K3 a lot more.

Just today, me and Daz have been up there till 2am and only came down cos we were getting grief off the missus... Playing the big maps - me sniping like a dirty tool and daz whinging cos he dont like the maps etc etc etc ( DIG DIG DIG )

I am up for this little net blast too... Should be cool.

UT is awesome....I love 2003 and its a great game, BUT the original plays better....

The "scale" is all wrong on 2003....it feels like its bigger than it really is
