EE 2 sucks! Big time... This is far worse then the first one, and looks like they tried to copy M$ age of empires! I must say this is the worst game I ever played.... The graphics are crap, the interface is huge and the layout is anoying And to think I waited 2 years for this!

The interface is a 3rd of the freaking screen! The grapics look less detailed then the original, and the ai is feaking stupid!

I tend to agree to a point,

cons: it does look like an AoE copy, interface is annoying, graphics seem average, AI is dumb as usual (guess multi player may be better)

Pros: I like the new research points etc as a way of ascending the ages, watch towers are all powerful.

I want to see what it is like in WWII + eras.

P.S. Have you tried Ground Control II ???

My God, what have they done?

Empire Earth 1 was total crap, but the Art of Conquest expansion made it amazing. It is trully one of my favourite games of all time. Then they went and released 'Empires: Dawn of the Modern World', which was total crap. Now, they've gona and combined Empires with Empire Earth, and what do we get?

    Total Crap!

Seriously, what are they thinking with the graphics? I prefer a game which is clean and simple, and lets me look down on the buildings, but instead all the next gen RTS's just go and make everything too close up and detailed. I think Sierra/Stainless Steel should have learnt from the hash up they made of Empires, and just updated the main system of Empire Earth instead.

They've seriously put their foot in it this time.

It is total ****. Very poor.

Sadly, it seems the RTS gaming of EE: AoC won't ever see the light of day again.

yep, I agree, I wasn't really impressed, to be fair I was in a hurry when I did the screenies and had no AA or AF settings enabled, just default @1024x768x32 but all the same the release is disappointing to say the least.

AoM was crap, hopefully AoE 3 will redeem itself.

I think the bloody graphics etc in modern RTS just get in the way of the game, and thats why they nearly all suck.
