Hmmm i still think Red Alert 2 was the last good C&C game.
It is a very cool game
EA seem to be doing nothing about it, so then only way to get a good online generals match atm is to play with your mates ;/
Still its a great game - doesnt quite beat Red Alert 1 tho

yeah it is fine with SP2, trying changing the exe settings to run under windows 95, it may help.

Generals was too different. It was good... but it didn't feel like CnC.

Ditto, although tbh none of them had quite the same impact as the first one. Back in the heady days of a 486 DX4 100Mhz, this game took over my life.
Generals is good for a laugh, but the original is still the best imho.

Red Alert 2 was the best, Generals just wasn't Command and Conquer.

Generals doesn't have the same c&c feel to it, but its fun all the same. Had me hooked for about a month...red alert 2 for about 3 years.
I haven't played the game for a while, but I was thinking on getting back into it. A mate of mine was no1 in the world for a bit, and was always in the top 10. He was also European Champion, but as has been mentioned, the game is somewhat ruined by alt F4 cheaters, which is annoying.
