I have not been interested in gaming since HL2 came out. I tend to lose to will to complete games and just stop playing them after a while. I love first person shooters and games like C&C.
Help me!

Darwinia or Tron 2.0
just had a look at those and they wont interest me at all, I know it.
God I used to play CS for hours on end and now I dont have to drive to play games anymore. hmmm maybe I should go back to GTA Vice City or C&C Generals
Just to get you away from the mundane CS and generic RTS, try this alternative list.
Rome Total War
If you are a fan of RTS and find a bit of Civilisation tickles your fancy this game will rock your socks. It really has everything and more! £24.99 from Play.com or Gameplay.com
Thief 3 : Deadly Shadows
Maybe you don't like to think with your FPS but you have to give this a try. Great gameplay, excellent use of shadows and perhaps one of the best pieces of level design ever in The Cradle. It's a muppet plucking steal at £9.99 from Play, Gameplay and Game but they are ALL out of stock
Pirates!
Light hearted entertainment. Hard to classify this one but you are a pirate (arrgggh) and you must sail around the Caribbean to find out about your captured family. Good for quick stints! £24.99 Play or Gameplay.
Lucasarts Entertainment Pack
Old School point and click affairs plus possibly the most underrated title ever, Grim Fandango. Lucasarts at their humorous peak there are guaranteed "LOL" moments, and I mean belly laughs. I can't track it down on the net but the titles are £9.99 on their own and you get 4 of them which cost £19.99 when I got it.
Knights of the Old Republic
One of those games which can keep you up till the wee hours. Bioware the creators of Baldurs Gate make a game in a similar guise to that series except this time with a Star Wars theme! Perfection! Character Building, Story Driven RPG with one of the most massive twists ever! Another steal at £14.99 from Gameplay, then once your finished try the second one.
Trust me, try some of those! They will restore your faith in gaming.
I was personally very disapointed with Rome Total War, anyone else prefer Medieval Total War?
New Sig on the Way...
Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay has recieved excellent ratings, and its an FPS game. So, if you are into HL2, it makes sense to try this next, as 0iD suggested.
New Sig on the Way...
I have put a review together for Chronicles of Riddick in the reader reviews section if you want a bit more info on it

IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
Nah, thats not good unless you have a joystick (like me. )
X-52! Come on!
New Sig on the Way...
Have you ever played Mafia? That's a GREAT game.

the graphics and interaction of factions are both a lot better in rtw
just bought the viking invasion expansion pack for mtw, not played it yet, but i have high hopes
The Viking campaign is pants tbh, but the extra factions in the main campaign make it a great expansion. Also, Viking Invasion makes modding the game easier...
I think R:TW had a ****e moving system. I mean... Walking.... No. You move between provinces! I guess they have to introduce it now, for their next version, which may have planes.
New Sig on the Way...
i was hoping the next one was going to be set during the Napoleonic wars.....
a lot of potential for an amazing game imho
