look pretty damn good, no doubt ill be getting this
that looks amazing....
Hoe will it compare to GT4
I've always prefered the handling on Toca to that of Grand Turismo, and this combined with realistic damage and better graphics (and not just PS2 exclusive) should make Toca 3 an ace driving game.

Oh thank god, a game with realistic crash simulation. It's been a while since a big game's done it well and this looks like it'll kick a**! TOCA race driver was a bit of a let down![]()
Does look good. Almost too good. Are you sure they are 'proper' actual in-game screenshots, or enhanced promotional screens? That crash and the motion effects on each broken off part of the car just look to good. But i hope thats exactly how it looks, but even if they are real in game shots, i think a little 'photoshoping' may have been applied![]()
yea that cant be ingame gfxs something has been done but looks amazing anyway
i think its real, but yes, i think the background was probably chopped, its all blured and stuff.. might blur some in the game, but i dont think so, who knows, maybe its not a real in game screenshot but thats what they are aiming for..Originally Posted by dangerous_dom
Wow I will be getting this for sure, it looks amazing.
Why is it that racing games never seem to look as good as other games (ie FPS). Its getting there though![]()
G4 PowerMac - Tiger 10.4 - 512MB RAM
MacBook - 2Ghz - 1GB RAM - 120GB HDD
Rotel RC970BX | DBX DriveRack |2x Rotel RB850
B&W DM640i | Velodyne 1512
They are in game graphics... The ingame motion blur is a fairly easy effect to produce, used to great sucess in Burnout 3...
Have you guys not seen the leaked ingame graphics of the Xbox 2 EA Titles (Madden and Need For Speed) ? They look life like...
It seems some of you dont realise how fast graphical techniques are moving...
Grab a copy of the new issue of Edge and turn to the page showing screenshots of Xbox 2 games...

I wouldn't be surprised if that was in game graphics, but I wouldn't be surpised if it was a pre-rendered movie either
Hoping it is in game graphics though![]()
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
I can't find any links, searched for a while, but there is a picture in edge which looks very sweet, also a madden 2006 picture...
Have you guys seen the Xbox 2 specs?
-3 x IBM PowerPC processors running in parallel @ 3ghz each
-256mb system ram
-500mhz ATI graphics with independent ram (probably 128mb)
-Still using DVDs, as double sided holds up to 9gb i think so thats enough.
-Wireless controllers
-64mb memory card slot
-Standard Screen output : 1280 x 720 (automatically adjusts to screen size and res)
