HL2 Officially Delayed
Doug Lombardi of Valve Software...
"The previously announced September 30th release date for Half-Life 2 is being pushed back. We are currently targeting a holiday release, but do not have a specific "in-store" date to share at this time. We will release that information as soon as we have confirmed a new date."
And Doom III ain't coming anytime soon either...

doom 3 has been delayed till next year for a while, from the alpha that went public the developers admited they didnt have much more than what was in the alpha itself.
-
:( I had this game preordered as well. O well, time for another wait.
-
And what with Deus Ex: 2 penned for Feb '04, I guess I'm goign to have to get good at being patient. Nasty developers! I was looking forward to HL2 this weekend! :p
-
i must say both Deus Ex : Invisible War and Half Life 2 look EXCELLENT.... i'm looking forward to playing Doom 3 but not as much as HL-2 i have to say...
Ben :)
-
Half life 2 looks sublime but the cynical side of me cant really see it living up to the original and doom3 just looks set to be souless eye candy :(
-
Any sign of the HL2 Benchmark they were supposed to be releasing yesterday? Or is that delayed too... :(
