Any D&D’ers out there ??

A good friend of mine recently put me on to - Solasta - Crown of the magister.
If you fancy a little turn based beautifully crafted isometric RPG , then have a look.
I’m thoroughly enjoying it right now. Accurately based on fifth edition rules it’s gorgeously stats based and thoroughly geeky. And if you can ignore the frankly shocking voice acting and mediocre cut scenes it is a D&D fan’s playground !!

I'll have to check it out! There's definitely an issue finding good tabletop rules based games as (of course) most reviewers have to look at them from a slightly more general audience point of view.

I'd dismissed Pathfinder:Kingmaker for years with it's fairly average reviews, but then when I did finally pick it up I found it to be probably the best tabletop based game since Baldur's Gate.

there were plenty of D&D'rs in and around Wembley last weekend. I understand the police are still trying to identify them so if you have any information that might help do contact crimestoppers...

Well it looks like we might be scratching each other’s backs then !! I had also (seemingly wrongly) dismissed Pathfinder:Kingmaker for the same reasons..

I’m frankly over the moon that the CRPG has recently been enjoying a little more attention.


In 2018 Divinity II got me thoroughly hooked again, then I enjoyed Wasteland 3 last year and revisited Shadowrun ‘again’ - LOVE that title
Didn’t want to jump into BG3 until it’s nicely polished so Solasta was a welcome discovery
Now I have another contender thank you Kalniel !!
