Just thought I'd share a couple of indie games I bought last week and thoroughly enjoying.
If you like logistic style games then these are definitely recommended. I've already sunk 30 hours into them in less than 2 weeks.
I follow a few Indie gamers on youtube and Mini Motorways kept coming up in my recommendations so I watched a few and decided for the sake of £7 I'll try it, then spotted the bundle for only £11.34 and grabbed that instead.
I'm horrendously bad at logistics but really enjoying them. Each play through is never the same.
You will sink anywhere between 30mins to an hour in each session.
Currently Mini Metro is on most platforms, and Mini Motorways is on Steam & Apple, I'd expect that to change as time moves on.
I have a touchscreen laptop with a MX150, the games work well on keyboard & mouse and touch so I use a mixture of both.
Mini Metro doesn't get my laptop hot, but Mini Motorways does, however, not alarmingly so.
You certainly don't need the best hardware, with laptops unless you have excellent cooling you will probably need a dedicated GPU but nothing more than the MX range. I would imagine on desktops a modern integrated GPU is more than enough for both with the advantage of superior cooling.
Here's a video on Mini Metro as an introduction
