    Halo goes gold

Finally. Its been quite a wait but it should really be out soon. I think they must have had two people working on it or something.

i thought it is meant to be out on the 30th... i'm sure there was a thread a few days ago about it... cba to look to prove myself wrong or right tho

the beta demo is pretty cool, especially due to the fact you could play it multiplayer ... anyway roll out halo, it will give me something to play before hl2 comes out

wooah the waterfall turned into a moon!

/me wants the final version... the textures in the beta one arent that great (ie the warthog or whatever the buggy is called) close up looks like BMP textures .

the textures are not all that good in the final either. and it runs so as its meant to run at 30fps so when it drops below that can feel slow on the 2nd level when u go up the top gets quite jerky as well. but its kept me entertained on mission 7/10 now. its out in the US already i think its here on the 10th

hmm i just played some multiplayer (for all intensive purposes i've just flown to the USA and play it on a friends computer ), and it looked better than the beta.. i'll try the single player a bit later on perhaps

edit : you dont have to have it locked at 30fps.. set it from 30fps to 'vsync' which will set the max to whatever you've chosen the refresh rate to be
